My Inspiration for First Cat
Catholic's Catechism
With God's blessings, miraculously, in January 2023, while
continuing my service at Our Lady of Assumption and English Martyrs Church,
Cambridge in England, I read a small booklet called the "Penny Catechism" formulated by the Catholic Bishop's Conference of England and Wales (CBCEW) to foster the
faith of the Catholic children there. The penny Catechism book was given by Mr. James Ronald Clearkin and Elizabeth Maureen Clearkin and Dominic Clearkin
family and they supported for the spreading of the faith.
In this book, they published 371 questions and answers related to
the creed, sacraments, commandments of God, church precepts, the Lord's Prayer, Hail Mary, and other
prayers. I noticed that this is immensely useful during childhood and for every Catholic family that has
newly embraced the faith.
Therefore, The First Cat (Catholics' Catechism) is an attempt to
bring this to the Telugu people.
May God's blessings and my wishes be with the couple Dr. Sri Anand Kumar
Narisetti and Smt. Velangani Nirmala Rani (Guntur) who assisted me in translating this into
Telugu.
