Here I would like to share with you about my inspiration and encounter with the Diary of St. Faustina: Divine Mercy in my soul.
In 2017, I have appointed as a Parish priest of Sirvel on Feb 9th, 2017. In the beginning days of my ministry in this parish, I casually asked the Carmelite nuns to give one spiritual book for the reading. Later on, They told me that after praying for nine days, they decided to give me the first book what they see when they enter their library. As soon as they entered the library, the first book they saw was “St. Maria Faustina’s Diary: Divine Mercy in my soul and they gave it to me. After getting this book, I went to Blessed Sacrament, Knelt down and prayed to the Lord to enlighten me about my mission. After my Prayer I opened the Bible to know my mission and read this verse: “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me – the task of testifying to the good news of God’s Grace”. [Acts 20, 24].
I never understood this verse on that Day, but today I believe that God has chosen me from my mother’s womb and also appointed me to share His Great Unfathomable Mercy to all people. Thanks be to God for His great Mercy on this poor soul. After a few days of reading, during my personal prayer I got Divine Inspiration to translate this Diary of St. Faustina into Telugu Language. By the grace of God and four years of constant hard work, I completed it with great attention and commitment.
